It is defined enough at the waist that I dont look like I am wearing a sack but flairs out enough to be flowy and comfortable. I don't have a defined waist but the dress gives me one. I am 5'8" and 165 pounds. I wear a 36 D bra and size 12 pants and the medium fit well. Length is perfect and hits me mid knee

I'm not one for writing reviews, but I felt the need to do so, I'm 200lbs and have a belly that for me makes me feel a little on the unflattering side in dresses, however I bought this one and another one with print and I've felt very sexy and comfortable in both...great buy!

Dress is well made and really cute. If you are a busty women, be prepared to show a little cleavage. I'm a size 18/20 with a 48' chest. The 2X fits great but the top is a little tight (my husband things it's just right). I'm pleased with the purchase and look forward to wearing it out to a winery in the summer.
